The usual stuffing I make is somewhat similiar to this recipe (added toppings such as susage), so if your looking for a traditional recipe this is not the one.

Description

There are a lot of delcious dishes out their of course none of them wil ever be better than Pumpkin Pie, stuffing is a close second in being one of my favorite dishes. Hence, why I made a second recipe. Stuffing is one of the best dishes on the thanksgiving table. I would ususally each it with my turkey or inside it. Which is why we call it stuffing. Traditionally it is supposed to be stuffed inside the turkey. Anyways I developed a likeness for stuffing as I eat it with cranberry sauce. Then and their stuffing ranked up my list in favorite foods. I would usually help with making it.

Here is one funny thing my sister said that I though I would share with you guys.

"Stuffing is like the inside of an oreo."

At first i though it was so stupid but, I though of it as one funny memmory I share with my family on Thanksgiving.

High-quality sandwich bread or ay bread of your choice. 2 1/2 pounds, cut into 3/4 dices
Butter of your choice 8 tabelspoons
Sausage (what I usually add to my stuffing. 11/2 pound sage sausage. How ever much you want.
Large Onion 1, (chopped well)
Large rib celery 4
Garlic cloves 2 minced cloves
Fresh minced sage leaves 1/2 cups
Kosher Salt and black pepper, if wanted. optional
Store bought turkey stock 4 cups
Large eggs 3
minced parsley leaves 1/4 cup

Instructions

These are the steps
Step Directions
1. Preheat oven to 275°F (135°C), and adjust oven racks to to respective spots, then spread two baking sheets and bake for about 50 minutes. Let cool, then increase oven temp to 350°F (180°C)
2. In a oven, melt butter over medium-high heat (for about 9 minutes). Then for the next 8 minutes add sausage, breake it up as it cooks.
3. Whisk the remaining chicken stock, eggs, and 3 tablespoons parsley in a bowl of your choice. Slowly add the egg mixture whilst stirring, and fold the bread cubes until combined.
4. When fully mixed place the remaining stuffing in a buttured baking dish of your choice (because any size is ok), and bake for 45 minutes until the center reaches 150°F (66°C). With a foil on top. After the time is done, you want to remove the foil and bake again for 15 - 20 mins until you see a golden brown color. Then just let cool for 5 minutes ans serve.

Tips and Tricks

  1. If you want, feel free to add your own toppings to your stuffing, what every you want, I also suggest you eat the stuffing with cranberry sauce it's makes it so much better.
  2. Stuffing is commonly put inside the turkey, as an addition to the serving. Me personally my family and I do that each thanksgiving.
  3. If the contents of the ingredients is too much for you, feel free to cut the amount needed in half. You can always decrease the size of the dish or scale it down. Maybe use it for a different recipe you would like.
  4. One tip to make sure your recipe is one step better, try to prepare your stuffing maybe a day in advance and store it in a fride, so that when your finished with all the steps you can just take it out of the fridge and immediately place it in the oven to cook. That way it is baked right before serving.
  5. Finally, just like my previous pie recipe, be creative add your own things to it, have fun with this. That is the only way you will be proud of your work, and have confidence when you serve it to others, it's your creation.

Essentially the average preptime should be 45-60 minuets (it isn't that long) from start to finish, and the serving should be for 8-10 people.
